Lesley-Ann Drake/Path to Shine

Path To Shine provides free after-school mentoring and tutoring for under-served, elementary school children once a week. Working with small groups of children, and no more than 2 children per adult volunteer, Path To Shine programs build trusting relationships between adult volunteers and the children. Since beginning in 2010, Path To Shine has grown to 13 programs around the state of Georgia serving 173 children and engaging more than 140 volunteers. Some of our programs are in their 5th or 6th year! The program is a commitment for all concerned but it is a commitment well worth making.

Dr. Rob Anderson serves as Deputy Superintendent of Academics for the Fulton County School system.  As the fourth largest school system in Georgia, Fulton has more than 10,500 full-time employees, including more than 7,500 teachers and other certified personnel, who work in 101 schools and administrative and support buildings.

Previously, Williams also worked in nonprofit fundraising and events with the American Diabetes Association. Currently, Williams has moved back to her roots in Georgia and has taken on running the start-up nonprofit, 48in48, as Executive Director, bringing marketing and technology to nonprofits in, now 4 cities across the country.

Gina Gentilozzi has worked in hospitality and entertainment for three decades. Gina has started several small businesses in entertainment management and event logistics. Her most recent launch was Whiskey and Redheads Music, specializing in songwriter resources, brand creation and career management.
